Diamond Certs
An AGL Diamond Report will assist you, in making a more informed decision, when purchasing a diamond.
If the diamond that you are interested in purchasing doesn’t have a report, you should request that the ‘seller’ obtain a report. A Diamond can be sent to AGL, and, by appointment, we could arrange to have the report prepared the same day.
The AGL Diamond Report will be prepared to an internationally accepted standard (GIA) carried out by experienced Graduate Gemmologists and qualified Graders, using the latest sophisticated grading and measuring equipment available. These include
- (OGI) Megascope Proportion Analyser system.
- SAS2000 Spectrophotometer. For Analyising and testing Diamonds
- Austron Diamond Colorimeter.
- Master colour grading comparison.
- Electronic digital balances, electronic digital measuring Gauges.
- L.w.-S.w. Ultraviolet system.
- Reichert Stereo Microscope, with fibre optic units.
- Triplet corrected Loupes.
Using all or some of these, we make accurate measurements of the diamond using the latest optical measuring instruments and print out the information on the make (cut grade) as well as the other three c’s of the diamond.
